I live in a small community on the southern Oregon Coast. Trying to sell a high end class C motorhome on my own was a futile exercise. I tried the standard Craigslist and RV Trader ads, but to no avail. I was contacted by Sean Millard of Base Camp RV, who patiently explained to me their services and a guarantee price that I will get for my motorhome. He drove a total of 18 hours round trip to pick up my RV from my home and bring it to their lot in Rocklin, California. He kept his schedule for pick up, reviewed the sales documentation (which was only two pages) and got my RV safely back to his lot without incident. Within three weeks, my motorhome is now pending, waiting for final financial approval. I am convinced that their ability to provide financing to prospective buyers is a big plus, as that is something I could not offer. Basecamp RV is one of the best RV dealers around. The prices on their units cannot be beat and they are upfront with all the costs. The customer service they provide is amazing. Neil and Skylar were always available with any questions I had and were always there when I needed to get a hold of them. My wife and I brought our two small children in and they treated us all like family. Neil even set up the TV in the RV to have it show cartons to keep my kids entertained while my wife and I checked out every inch of the unit and asked all of our questions. I used my own outside financing to purchase the unit and they were extremely flexible with them and all the additional paperwork and requirements my bank had. I also traded in my RV with the purchase and was given top dollar. I have purchased a few RVs before and this was by far the easiest and most enjoyable experience I have had. Overall enjoyed the experience. The owner Skylar was friendly; worked diligently to answer our questions and provide us with enough info for us to make an informed purchase. Basecamp's online ad did not indicate that this was a used 2018 trailer, but that info came out in our conversation. Basecamp was willing to accept my offer which I flt was reasonable NADA value. Upon review of the trailer, there were a couple of minor things that were not working on the trailer & Basecamp worked with us to remedy. Overall, a very positive experience. Skylar has good communication and a great work ethic. We are enjoying our trailer and will consider Basecamp for our future RV purchases.
